Dashboard
Intake address
Share this address with your missionary. Any letter they send here lands in the Letters tab for review. Only addresses on the approved-senders list (Site Settings) can use it.
letters@…
Approved senders can also email
subscriber-list@…
to receive their current subscriber list as a reply — useful when
web access is limited.

Site Settings
Sets the pronouns used on the public landing page (he/him for Elder, she/her for Sister). Leave blank to use gender-neutral language.
JPEG, PNG, or GIF. Oversized images are resized to 800px automatically. You can also paste a URL:
Incoming mail & replies
The missionary's personal address. Used as the Reply-To on outgoing letters so replies go straight to them.
By default replies go to the missionary. Check the box only if you want replies routed somewhere else (e.g. a parent's inbox).
Only mail from these addresses to letters@…
will reach the subscriber list. Anyone else gets a polite bounce-back.
Help Fund My Mission
External links (optional)
Shown on the public site as a list — photo album, Instagram, donation page, whatever you want to share. Leave blank to hide.
Page sections
Drag to reorder, or use the up/down arrows. Toggle the eye to hide a section. The header and footer always show — they identify your missionary.
▶ Maintenance mode
Route broadcasts to test recipients only. Real subscribers
don't receive anything, and the letter stays in
pending so you can broadcast it for real after
turning this off.
Email Design
Everything that affects how your broadcast emails look and read. Changes save automatically.
Letter design
The overall visual style of your broadcast emails.
Click any thumbnail to switch templates, or hit Preview broadcast at the bottom of the page to see the full email with your settings.
Postmark stamp
Adds a postal-style stamp to the email header. Optional.
Plain-text emails don't have a header — the stamp option turns off automatically when that template is selected.
Postmark location
The city + country shown inside the postmark cancellation (e.g. São Paulo · Brasil).
Sender + subject
What recipients see in their inbox before they open.
What recipients see in the From: line. Leave
blank to use the default
your name + " Mission Updates".
Adds a consistent prefix/suffix to every letter's subject.
Placeholders: {subject} {missionary}
{week} {location} {date}.
Wrap a group in […] to hide when empty — e.g.
[Week {week}: ]{subject} reads as
"Week 12: Hello" when week is set, just "Hello"
when it isn't.
Greeting
Used for subscribers imported without a name. Leave blank for the default "Dear friends and family,".
Body content
Appended below every letter. Markdown for formatting:
**bold**, *italic*,
[link text](https://…), blank line for paragraph
break, single Enter for line break. Placeholders:
{missionary}, {mission}.
Sent to new subscribers when they sign up. Placeholders:
{name}, {missionary},
{archiveUrl}. Leave blank for the default
welcome message.
Used for buttons and accent lines in your broadcasts and welcome message. Default blue works for most lists.
Footer "Serving From" line (optional)
When both fields are filled in, broadcasts include a "Serving From: {Ward} (Unit #{Number})" line at the bottom of every email.
The 6- to 9-digit unit number for your missionary's home ward or branch. Ask your ward clerk or financial clerk — they can give it to you in seconds. (It's also printed on the bottom of paper tithing slips.) Shared with Help Fund My Mission on Site Settings — editing it here updates both places.
Renders this email with sample text using all of your current settings. Useful before hitting Broadcast on a real letter.
Domain Setup
A custom domain gives this missionary their own web address (for
example, theirname.com) and their own letter-intake
email address. The wizard below walks through it: add a few DNS
records at your domain registrar, verify they're live, then turn
on letter-receiving. You can also skip this entirely and use the
path URL shown on the dashboard — the custom domain is purely
for polish.
Custom domain
The bare hostname for this missionary — no https://,
no trailing slash. Saving a new domain resets the DNS setup
below, so you'll re-walk the wizard for the new domain.
Switching back uses
letters@… for intake and
the path URL for the public site. Your registrar DNS records
can stay — they just stop being referenced.
Where is your domain registered?
Picking your registrar shows the exact steps for finding the DNS settings page there — plus gotchas specific to that registrar. We try to auto-detect from your domain's nameservers; if our guess is wrong, override below.
Add these DNS records at your registrar
Each row is one record. Click the value to copy it, then paste it into a new record at your registrar. "Why this matters?" opens a short explainer for each record.
Verify your records
We look up each record across three public DNS resolvers and show you what's live now versus what we need. DNS can take a few minutes (sometimes longer) to fully spread.
Activate letter-receiving
Once every DNS record above is verified, click below to turn
on letter intake at letters@….
Letters sent there will appear in the Letters tab for review
and broadcast.
Billing
Your current plan, payment status, and the add-ons you've chosen. Buying a plan or add-on opens Stripe's secure checkout in a new window; managing your card or cancelling Monthly opens Stripe's billing portal.

Add-ons
Optional purchases on top of your plan. Tick the checkboxes on one-time items to bundle them into a single checkout, or click Buy on any row to purchase it on its own. Subscriptions check out one at a time.
Close your account
Permanently delete your account and every missionary you've created — letters, subscribers, photos, the public archive. Billing records (Stripe history) are retained for 7 years for tax/accounting compliance; everything else is deleted within seconds.
We'll email you a confirmation link before anything is deleted. The link is valid for 1 hour.
Managers
People who can manage this missionary's account: review pending letters, add or remove subscribers, edit Site Settings. Inviting someone sends them an email with a sign-in link valid for 7 days. They'll need to sign in with the Google account that matches the invited email address.
